Get ready for a more convenient and feature-rich banking experience! In late April, our systems will be upgraded to bring you a host of enhancements designed to make managing your money better.

VISA update: We apologize for the continued inconvenience with your new debit card(s). VISA corrected the issue with their network late on April 27, but each retailer updates their own systems independently. Some update daily. Some multiple times per day. And some weekly. Unfortunately we do not know when each processor will update, but we're seeing more transactions processing every hour. We appreciate your patience as the resolution process is underway.

Important Dates

April 10
  • New Debit/ATM cards begin mailing out
April 22
  • Existing eBills will still be accessible, but no new eBills can be created on the current system. eBills will not carry over to the new system, so please take note of any existing eBills you have set up
April 27
  • Your existing Debit/ATM card is deactivated at 12:01 a.m. Activate your new Debit/ATM card beginning at 1:01 a.m.
  • Eaton ATMs go offline for system conversion, with all units back online by April 29. Your new card can still be used at any MoneyPass Network ATM
April 28
  • Online & Mobile Banking unavailable after 6:00 p.m.
  • Online Bill Pay will be unavailable after 6:00 p.m. Any scheduled payments will still be processed
  • Telephone Banking unavailable after 11:45 p.m.
May 2
  • Online Banking, Bill Pay, and Telephone Banking will be accessible on our new system starting at 8:00 a.m. 
  • The new Eaton Mobile Banking App is available for download

Current Users - What you need to know

Online and Mobile Banking and Bill Pay will be unavailable beginning April 28 at 6:00 p.m. Any existing bill payments or transfers you have scheduled after this time will go through without delay. However, you will not be able to initiate new payments on the current system after this time. 

Be sure to note any eBills you have set up, as those will not carry over to the new system.

First-Time Login Instructions

Personal

  • Beginning May 2, go to Eaton.Bank and click the orange LOGIN button
  • Enter your current Username. Your password has been reset to your Username plus the last 4 digits of your SSN. You will be prompted to change your password upon your first login
  • Set up your Security Questions and enjoy your new experience

Business

  • Beginning May 2, go to Eaton.Bank and click the orange LOGIN button
  • Your Username and temporary password will change accordingly:
    • New Username: Company ID + Current Username (example: 1234567JDoe)
    • New password: Company ID + Current Username + last 4 of business Tax ID (example: 1234567JDoe9876)
  • You will be prompted to create a new password following your first login and your Security Questions, then enjoy your new experience

Brand New Users

Interested in banking digitally? Beginning May 2, simply go to Eaton.bank and click the orange LOGIN button, then click the ENROLL button and follow the prompts.

Mobile Banking App

The new mobile banking app gives you a seamless experience across all your devices. Beginning May 2, simply do the following:

  • Apple device users: Your existing app should automatically update if you have auto-updates enabled
  • Android device users: You will need to delete our old mobile app and download the new mobile app. Go to your device’s app store and search for “Eaton Community Bank”

Telephone Banking

Access your accounts 24/7 through our new automated telephone banking system with an improved menu and functionality.

  • Current users: Create a new PIN when calling for the first time. Your temporary PIN will be the last four digits of your SSN
  • 24-Hour Telephone Banking number remains the same, 866-764-6552

Enjoy new features like person-to-person payments, mobile wallet, and card controls. We’re giving you more control and self-service features that you’ve asked for. Take a look at the following information for details.

Person-2-Person Payments (P2P)

Paying the babysitter or splitting the restaurant tab among your friends is now easier than ever. With P2P you can securely send money to friends and family in a snap.

  • Request or receive money with a mobile number or email address
  • No more checks or cash
  • No cost to use

Simply log in beginning May 2, go to the 'Move Money' tab, and follow the prompts.

Debit Card Controls

Now you decide when, where, and how your debit card is used. Turn your card on or off instantly, set spending limits, transaction alerts and the geographic areas where your card can be used.

  • Better security
  • Better peace of mind

Log in beginning May 2 and go to the 'Manage Cards' tab to set your own controls.

eNotices

Cut down the paper clutter with our expanded eStatements and eNotices. More alerts are now available, including loan accounts.

Log in and go to the 'E-Docs' tab and sign up for electronic notifications on all your accounts.

External Transfers

Do you have accounts at other financial institutions? Now you can easily move money between your Eaton accounts and those you have elsewhere.

Positive Pay for Business

Available to business customers, this new service helps to deter and detect payment fraud. Ask your Business Relationship Manager for more information.

Quicken/Quickbooks

Online Banking now integrates with Quicken, QuickBooks and Mint financial management software. As we prepare to launch our upgraded core systems, users will need to take the following two actions to ensure a smooth transition with QuickBooks, Quicken and Mint:

1st Action - April 28

A data file backup and a final transaction download should be complete by this date. Please make sure to complete the final download before this date because transaction history might not be available after the final upgrade.

2nd Action - May 2

You will complete the deactivation/reactivation of your online banking connection to ensure that you get your current Quicken or QuickBooks accounts set up with the new connection.

The following PDF instruction guides will assist you with the process:

Intuit aggregation services may be interrupted for up to 3-5 business days. Users are encouraged to download a QFX/QBO file during this outage. The following services may not work during the outage:

  • Quicken Win/Mac Express Web Connect
  • QuickBooks Online Express Web Connect
  • Mint

Please carefully review your downloaded transactions after completing the migration instructions to ensure no transactions were duplicated or missed on the register.

Mobile Wallet

  • Pay with your mobile device by connecting your Eaton debit card to your mobile wallet. Available for Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. More details to come in the next few months.

Online Account Opening

  • Open a new deposit account in minutes without having to step foot in a branch. More details to come in the next few months.

Product Upgrades

We’re streamlining and adding more features to many of our existing products. You’ll get easier access to your money in a straightforward lineup that provides more value back to you. Please review the following information for details on how your current accounts are affected by our system upgrades.

Checking and Money Market Accounts

  • You will be transitioned into a new account, but no action is required. Please refer to the detailed mailing you should have received for your specific accounts
  • Your current account number(s) will stay the same
  • Your existing checks and deposit slips can continue to be used
  • You will receive a final paper statement off our old system with activity through April 27

Debit and ATM Cards

We are re-issuing new cards to all cardholders. Your new card will arrive in a separate mailing in April. New cards can be activated beginning at 1:01 a.m. on April 27. Your current card will stop working on April 27.

CDs and IRAs

All terms will remain the same.

Savings, Business Savings, Christmas Club, Kids Club Accounts

These accounts are not changing. Continue using your account as usual. You will receive a final paper statement off our old system with activity through April 27.

Loan Account Information

  • All terms will remain the same. All payments, including automatic payments, will continue as usual
  • Loan account numbers will be changing. No action is needed on your part, but the format of loan account numbers will change with our new system 
  • New feature: Loan eStatements will be available within our new Online and Mobile Banking system. Enroll beginning May 2
  • New feature: Bi-weekly payments on personal loans will help you pay off your loan quicker. If this is of interest to you, please visit your local branch or call us
